New for the New Year!!
Mid last year I set out to be on top of things with my SU business. I layed out plans to set up more classes, host more workshops, and send out more emails. I sent maybe one or two. Then things became busy with babysitting, my son's sports, and my pregnancy. This year is a new year and I am promising myself and my customers that I WILL BE on top of things. The rest of the week I will be working on the calendar for the first quarter of 2011. I will set my budget and goals for my business. I would love to have 2 workshops a month, a bi-monthly scrapbook club, 1 stamp class per month, and 1 ladies night per month. I would also love to send out a bi-monthly newsletter by email to all my customers and guests. You are welcome to forward the newsletter to your friends and family also to share many great ideas, tips, promos, and photos.
Send me your email (niccimolinski@yahoo.com) to be on my Bi-Monthly Email list. I will inform you on dates for promos, events, and classes; have a card or scrap page share; gather feedback; and share guest photos. Let me know what you want to see in the newsletters too!!

Kids Night
I held a Kids Night last night so the children could make handmade gift for their teachers. Its always a wonder of what to give a child's teacher, wonder if they will like it or even use it!!! This year the children, with the help of their moms, made post it note holders with gel pens. They each had their own designs on the cover and chose their own colors. I used the template from the Stampin' Up! Youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbro7UCpKos Its a very simple gift idea!

New layouts December 2010
These are the scrapbook layouts that were available for ideas at our Scrapbook Club this past weekend. They are created with colors that can be used with Holiday photos or everyday photos. I have a habit of taking many photos then not printing them out, so at this pint these pages are photoless! Both Pages are to hold a photo at a diagonal. I can see Black and White photos working well here.

Scrapbook Club
Members of the scrapbook club will be meeting this weekend. So far we have met 5 times since this summer, meaning a bunch of us have got more scrap pages done this year than we have in a few years!! Its nice to be able to work nex to others who are friends or relatives, chit chat, share experiences, food, laughter, and see al the beautiful children.
A a result of this club, I have put together a Ladies Night one time a month. The evening consists of us gathering at my place, doing any craft we choose, drinking wine or other drinks of choice, chattin away, eating snacks, watching a movie, and all without children!!

Craft Fair
So the first fair has come and gone. It was a nice time we had, just wished to have seen more people come through. We thought maybe our prices were too high, but they were really reasonable and there just wasn't any traffic of people. :( We did sell a couple items, but turned around and purchased from other vendors!! Christmas shopping was waht I did!! All in all it was a good experience and preparation for future events!

This week's agenda
This week I am finalizing my baskets of items for the local craft fair. This is my first of hopefully many! I am sharing a table with a friends who does sewing and knitting. This is her first fair also!
I have some ideas of my own and have some ideas that other demonstrators have suggested. It would be nice to see a little bit of income this weekend. One goal is to get my name out and meet fellow crafters.
Wish me luck! I know I will foget something....must make a list and make a trip to the city to pick up a few things...Have a great week everyone!
